Our clients are looking for a Smart Repair Technician to join their team based in a Premium Motor retailer in Preston. In return you will receive a competitive salary of £39,150 per annum including OTE Bonus and excellent benefits!

This is a full time role and typically you will be expected to work between 08:30am and 05:30pm Monday to Friday and alternate Saturday mornings on a rota basis. (Saturdays are paid as overtime)

Working in our clients state of the art purpose build modern SMART REPAIR facility, this role would suit somebody with an accident/cosmetic repair background, so this certainly is a great opportunity to develop your skills within smart (Small, Medium Area Repair Technology) repair.

Our ideal Smart Repair Technician

To be successful in this role you will:

Have previous experience Smart Repair or Automotive cosmetic repair and completed a Panel Technician modern apprenticeship or equivalent. We would like you to have a working knowledge of automotive systems and the specific materials required for the repair process. You need to have an honest and diligent approach to work with the ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality of work. Hold a full UK Driving Licence.

About the Role

You will work as a multi-skilled Smart Repair Technician carrying out a variety of cosmetic repairs including stripping, refurbishing, and fitting parts to damaged vehicles, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standard, whilst delivering a seamless service to our customers. You will work effectively as part of a team of skilled Bodyshop Technicians. You will have full use of PPE and adherence to health and safety requirements when carrying out repairs. Whilst adhering to manufacturer repair guidelines when carrying out repairs.
